#RedactedScience update t’s been a normal week… meaning continued change. Honestly, I’m just glad to not care about what I’m eating. The physical stuff I can deal with.

Yeah, I’m slow and my legs hurt every step and my ribs don’t want to stay in place as the Fungal-Associated Transient Myopathic Syndrome (FATMS) — characterized by regional immune failure, mimicking polymyositis that I first had in my arms and then my legs has progressed to the intercostal muscles. But my mind is sharp. I have front row seats to the decline. The pain, at this point, remains manageable, although I have started wearing a wrap on my ribs.

I’m documenting my journey through a redacted medical condition.
